CHADWICK BOSEMAN FOUNDATION for the ARTS

The problem: A lack of support and black representation in the arts.

The solution: After the untimely passing of actor Chadwick Boseman, his wife, Simone Leward Boseman founded the CBFA. The foundation aims to continue Chadwick’s legacy of community engagement, social reform and empowerment through art. CBFA has developed a program of annual and at-need scholarships for students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) studying the arts, beginning with the Chadwick A. Boseman Memorial Scholarship at Howard University.
