Neighbor2Neighbor - California Volunteers Network

The problem: As a result of the pandemic, Californians have grown isolated and there is a crisis of trust. California Volunteers’ Neighbor to Neighbor initiative was established during the COVID-19 pandemic as a call to action for neighbors to connect with one another through practical actions (i.e., getting groceries, volunteering at vaccination sites). 

The solution: With the end of the pandemic, California Volunteers is building a scalable model that can be leveraged to address the state’s most pressing issues, including social isolation, climate action and disaster response. We created a digital campaign for social to increase awareness personalized for individual neighborhoods using Nextdoor app.
